Dr. Laura Clarridge, PhD
HeyGPA was built by Dr. Laura Clarridge. Laura spent more than a decade teaching in universities as a course instructor and academic coach, with a background in coaching psychology and a doctorate to go with it. She taught the classes and dealt with the academic-integrity cases that came across her own desk, so she knows how the system decides from the inside. Then she spent years on the other side of it, coaching students one at a time through the hard stretches and the labyrinth of an appeal.
What kept her at it was watching good students, the kind who fought their whole lives to get here, get knocked down by one rough semester and a process nobody ever taught them. She’s seen how much can turn on a little honest guidance at the right moment. HeyGPA is that guidance, no longer just one student at a time.
